| Looks like some work folk are gonna run june's mudrun as individuals. I bet some guy that I'm going to beat him. I mentioned that we should make a CSC mudrun trophy. I'm looking forward to June because I'm going to win two trophies -- the new CSC trophy and the Shannon-Tina-Luis one. btw, I titled this "winer" because on there are some little girls that live across the street from me. They drew hopscotch squares on the sidewalk. And in the top winning square, they wrote "winer"...all enclosed in pink chalk stars. I thought that was really cute. And then i thought it was a little sad because it's been there for over a week, and their parents hadn't bothered to correct them. | | |
| This was my horoscope for today.... Quickie: All of your generosity will get rewarded today when you are the recipient of a gift. Daily extended (by Astrology.com) You should be beaming with pride today. Even if you haven't recently rescued a kitten, helped an old lady across the street or given a huge anonymous donation to your favorite charity, you are a generous and wonderful person! Knowing that deep down inside will give you a quiet confidence that will bolster you against the harshest criticisms. All that giving is going to get rewarded today when you are the recipient of a major act of generosity yourself. Say thank you! - Yesterday I donated blood. And today I won the top prize in the blood donation raffle. A nice little basket filled with a Ralph's gift card, mugs, candle, and snacks. maybe i really am a generous and wonderful person....muahhhahhhaaa | | |
| I watched the new price is right for the first time. Drew lacks the elegance of Bob, but the show is still great. I feel lame because I was cheering as if it was a tennis match. This guy from Arkansas won a 500 bonus with his 1299 bid. I'd have never bid anything ending in 99....I'm a more 00 or 50 bidder...so I thought that was pretty lucky. Then he played the hole in one game and got to put from the very first line as he got all the products in the right order. Of course he sank it and won a Mustang convertible. Then he got $1 in the spin off. This was probably his best day ever. And I thought to myself...how rad would it be if I was this guy. I know lame. Then, in the second half this chick got a $1 and then got the green section in the second spin and I think I yelled "shut up" to the TV. She went head to head to the Arkansas guy in the showcase showdown. They were both good showcases both with cars. In the end, the lady won a corvette and a trip to Paris because the other guy overbid. I felt happy for her because you could tell that she was poor. But then I thought she probably can't pay the taxes on her prizes and maybe wouldn't be able to claim them. So then I was sad for her. I also went to Trader's and I was wearing that blue bracelet from H&M. At the checkout this lady behind me asked me if it was lapiz...and I said, "no, it's plastic." I thought that was pretty funny. So reading this blog, I feel kinda pathetic... if you're bored, check out theemoquiz.com funny questions, but at the end it prompts you to fill out some kind of survey then they would email you the results...like i need more spam, so i declined. so i don't know if i'm emo ;) | | |
| I decided to not stay home or go to yoga on Halloween night. So I tagged along with Mariana's family and went to see the sights. And it gave me the opportunity to dress up once again....in costume #3. We went to the mall and I saw way too many disney princesses. Then we went to look for this haunted house, but couldn't find it...so we ended the night walking around a neighborhood to look at decorations and all the trick or treaters. There was this kid that told us which houses gave the best candy. And he said his house gave the best candy. We told him we were too old to trick or treat. So he went back to his house and gave us a full bag of candy. We also saw a small group of kiddies followed by their fathers...one of which was lugging one of those radio flyers...that had a cooler in it....full of beer...
feeling very cindy sherman...wearing a wig and taking pics of myself.
